“Primary care risk bearing groups have had a tough time of late. Once the darlings of investors, recently they seem to have become the ugly stepchild. However, most of these companies have kept their focus and have been laying the groundwork for a long term strategy of better management of the patients they serve. It is my belief that the growth of Medicare Advantage (expected to be more than 50% by 2025) and good medical management strategies will pay off, and these groups will return to profitability by 2024.”
This site is all about better clinical and financial outcomes for patients with chronic diseases. The comprehensive strategy advocated here is essential for risk bearing primary care groups. If we are to have better health at lower cost, outpatient primary care groups will lead the way.
My idea: The care team will also be the data handlers for the data owners, the patient in our zero trust, keeping everyone honest decentralized distributed architecture to ensure that ALL future clinical safety and efficacy investigations are free of corruption, cherry-picking, and tainted preordained narratives paid by the big companies to sell unproven bad drugs, devices, procedures. This is the most expedient and best way to ensure a clean and trustworthy environment to protect our customers, the data owners, our patients! Everyone who own, secure, handle, and procure the data shall receive fair pay for their work. The system will allow monetized transactions for fairness and transparency. No more corrupt crooks and evil liars playing shenanigans of the American Medical Industrial Complex Kabuki Dance Theatrics upon all of us, especially their abusing our own data for god sakes, enough!
No choice, to take back control of our professional lives, and restore the patient-physician mutual trust. Primary care providers must be advocating for their patients who ultimately pay them.
