Happy New Year!
Today is the Third Anniversary of Slow Aging and Delay Chronic Disease Development!
Today is the third anniversary of Slow Aging and Delay Chronic Disease Development. We have been through the season of celebration, now is the season for New Year’s resolutions. Our healthcare system is broken and I hope my writing helps to fix it. That is my purpose. Chronic diseases lead to 86% of healthcare costs.
Independent outpatient advanced primary care practices focused on chronic diseases are a key part of the change that is needed to fix our system. I hope to move from writing to action. I want to work with other stakeholders to support primary care practices address chronic disease more effectively. I will start Wednesday with articles that explain why our efforts to improve chronic disease management and lower costs have failed up to this point. I hope you have the best gift of all in the coming year— your continued good health!
You too, Happy New Year!!
Three years! Don't know where you find the energy let alone the knowledge and wisdom, Bill. BUT, I am sure glad you have it all as I have learned such a great deal from your teachings almost every day. Happy New Year and many more to come!
