Bill, I always enjoy your posts and learn from them.

Psalm 90 was written by Moses. He wasn't promising people 70 or 80 years of life; he was lamenting people's early deaths: "The LORD’S anger burned against Israel and he made them wander in the desert forty years, until the whole generation of those who had done evil in his sight was gone." (Numbers 32:13)

Moses' brother lived to be 123, and Moses died at 120. I have Muslim friends whose Bedouin relatives live healthy lives well over 100. They follow a Bedouin diet and stay very active.
