Preeclampsia is the second most common cause of death in pregnant women. It is more common in women with diabetes and high blood pressure. It also causes prematurity and babies with low birth weight. The US Preventive Services Task Force recommends aspirin in high-risk women to prevent these complications. This aspirin effect only makes sense when you realize aspirin switches off mTOR and switches on AMPK. What are your thoughts?
Very interesting. Since my nursing career was in the OB field. It is always evolving.
