Berberine is available without the barrier of seeing a doctor and has similar effects to Metformin including ampk and mtor

You are correct. Berberine does switch on AMPK and you can get it without a prescription. Doseage is 500 mg three times a day. It costs about $30 a month. Metformin is $4 a month. Metformin also originated from a natural source, It originally came from the French lilac and has been used for hundreds of years. More importantly, combining metformin with other medications that switch on AMPK and switch off mTOR including lisinopril or losartan, and atorvastatin result in one fourth as many heart attacks, one fifth as many strokes, and one sixty as many people go on dialysis. That is best coordinated by a primary care clinician who is focused on chronic disease. We have hard proof that protocol helps you live longer and healthier and that is what matters. You can do the whole protocol for the price of berberine.

Medical disinformation - here you are writing about non-deliberate misinformation - yes, often deadly. As we have seen, much is also deliberate, as happened with the scamdemic, both re the illness and the dangerous (presented as safe) injections.
