The other diagnosis is a monopoly created by the swamp that’s deprived of safe and effective innovation, especially in early detection of the root causes of chronic diseases and applying primary lifestyle optimization techniques to prevent, deter, and reverse early signs of disease.

NIH, also part of the swamp, diabolically refuses to fund research that is not “disease” oriented and primary prevention-focused; imagine that! CMS does not pay for safe and efficient lifestyle optimization measures. Hundreds of billions of dollars are spent on research designed to promote the products of the big pharmaceutical and device companies. Little guys have no chance of getting the grant money from NIH at all!

This is what I call the ineffective, unsafe, unethical, and unacceptable “late-stage sickness seeking profiteering kabuki dance theatrics” of the legacy medicine 2.0 sponsored by the American Medical Industrial Complex.

To add insult to injury: “Their high-cost treatments are open too little and too late.”

If a person has high blood pressure they have arterial disease. Their artieries are abnormal in structure and function. Young soldiers killed in Viet Nam had fatty streaks in their arteries. Patients with diabetes also have arterial disease. Aggressively treating these patients is not prevention, it is more effective treatment of vascular disease.

A multiple boosted friend in perfect health who rode his bike 50 miles a day suddenly developed a cardiac problem. He went in to the hospital thinking he would be home in about 4 days. That was 8 weeks ago. The initial surgery went well but then everything fell apart as he picked up hospital germ after hospital germ and different things began to go wrong. He's ended up on dialysis and a huge fistula. He is still in the hospital after 8 weeks. I cannot even begin to imagine their bill. When he went in they were living modestly but comfortably in early retirement And both in good health except for vaccine injuries. Now I'm not sure what they face. But the bill will be horrendous and his health is no longer 100%.

What was the nature of his heart problem?

Bless you for writing this. I am a 69-year-old woman who has been blessed with excellent health, who is now chipping away at what was a five-figure medical debt for periodontal surgery this year. My deepest fear is that something will come up with my health in later years that will steal my savings and make me a burden on my adult children.

First of all, it is just silly that you ended up with a five figure medical bill for periodontal surgery. You and I are fortunate enough to live longer but age is the greatest risk factor for many chronic diseases. Our healthcare system is frequently driving Americans into bankrupcy. Other countries have figured this out. It is not rocket science . We could do it, we simply chose not to.

"It is a perfect example of the swamp." Your statement and we'll explained descriptions is exactly on target. This is where the really big money is. Horrible to see our lives come down to this. Like people chained together on a slave ship (the ill/sick ones) who couldn't make the full trip to the new world. While this is a description too, I need to add that there are plenty who did make it to the new world. They were strong enough to forge ahead and create the future. This is why we must not succumb to fear and we should never give up. We can learn from it and do better. There is no fat lady singing at my house.

Thanks Barbara. Like you, I am an optimist. I will write later this week about practical solutions to this horrible problem. The first duty of a physician is to be an advocate for patients. I may give out, but I will never give up.

Im sorry but I endure treatment in the extortion funded treatment rationing system, it's VERY crap.

I can only see this countries medical system attracting migrants who also import their illnesses. It definitely is not run around the needs of patients.

High cost is a sign of high economic rent and THAT is the west's current problem. The artificial shortages created by government mandating choice restriction and subsided title
