Having had 2 C-sections in my 40's, 1st child breech, it does take good salaries and housing. Coming from expensive CA it's no wonder we had to leave my home since 1964 to survive on less elsewhere. All is well now (perhaps with some dents) but I've learned a lot about humility along the way. ---Stubbornly Still Here!
Thank you as a maternal child RN so relevant. The care is more complex and costly and many units have closed. Mississippi has many closed units now and many hospitals offer no services. I know we can do better.
