Bill: Good points. However, I am quite doubtful about change through political channels. The Dems use all of the issues as a means to raise money. I gets dozens of emails from the DNC and various campaigns with dire predictions and terrible outcomes threatened, with payment to them being the preferred (only?) solution offered. We know the MAGA folks have been running campaign scams for years now. Is there any party that favors ACTION for reform and improvement and unity of purpose? I don’t see one out there.
I definitely see your point. The example of drug price negotiation is so clear and cries out for a solution, but neither party seems to have an answer. I will do my best to identify politicians that favor these solutions but politicians in both parties are on the take. They have been compromised by lobby money. You may be right. Politicians and politics are about power and money. Everything else is a distraction.
We must take the matters into our own hands! Physicians, nurses, patients, and caregivers unite and fight for our sovereignty and our future healthcare.
I might add that “we can develop technologies, innovate ways to transform how we conduct our work in research and in business”, rally the grassroots to push the politicians to force change. Politicians, the government, and the corrupt souls thriving via the revolving doors cannot be trusted to lead us any longer!
