This article connected the dots linking cardiovascular disease, cancer, and aging with the molecular biology that causes them. I already had some knowledge of mTOR, AMPK, and oxidants, but this article brought it all together. Abdominal fat make excess aldosterone leading to oxidant production, epidermal growth factor activation , and ultimately switches on mTOR and switches off AMPK. What do you think?
